About the Classic
The Cities ° Spring Classic presented by Lagomarcino’s is BACK this Easter Weekend!
Join us Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM for a bi-state celebration of running in downtown Moline, Illinois. This year’s event features a scenic 5K course that takes runners across the I-74 bridge into Bettendorf, Iowa—and back.
Register for the Community 5K or the Kids’ Bunny Hop, then stick around for the after-party at Bass Street Landing with craft beverages, food, and entertainment.
Kids will enjoy free Easter goodie bags with candy and bunny ears, plus family-friendly games and face painting.
Even better, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Empowering Abilities, supporting individuals with disabilities throughout our community.

Runners who sign up by March 27 will receive a special The Cities ° Spring Classic race shirt at packet pickup. These locally made shirts by Empowering Abilities are exclusive to registrants who sign up by 3/27.
After the cutoff, shirt availability is not guaranteed on race day—so don’t wait. Register and lock in yours!

THE KIDS RACE
9:20 am: The Kids Bunny Hop (1/4 & 1/2 Mile Runs) Join us at the scenic downtown Moline waterfront for a fun-filled race! All participants will receive complimentary bunny ears and a goodie bag filled with candy. Click to VIEW Start
After the race, families are invited to stay and enjoy Easter festivities at Bass Street Landing. It’s a perfect day for kids and families to celebrate together!
EMPOWERING ABILITIES ‘VICTORY RUN’
9:40 am: We are thrilled to announce that The Cities ° Spring Classic will be featuring an Empowering Abilities 100-meter dash again this year. Please join us with your support for these incredible competitors as they compete in a 100m dash. Awards and goodie bags will be presented after their races.
THE COMMUNITY 5K
10:00 am: The race kicks off directly behind Vibrant Area (on the bike path) Click to VIEW Start, taking you across the award-winning I-74 Bridge to Bettendorf, and finishing back in downtown Moline, Illinois. This unique bi-state running celebration offers stunning views and a fun experience for all.
Open to all ages and abilities – whether you're a walker, jogger, runner, stroller-pusher, everyone is welcome!
PARKING
Thanks to our friends at Vibrant Arena, race participants may park in the arena lot free of charge. Please note: all vehicles must be cleared from the lot by 1 PM.
